My name is Dustin Neyer, and I am very excited to be the Renaissance A coach this year. This is my second year as an Islander teacher at Renaissance as well. I have played basketball competitively from 3rd grade all the way through high school. After high school, I played football at Alma College and then decided to come back to my hometown with the hope of teaching and coaching. I look forward to working with these young men this season and continuing to get to know the entire Renaissance family. Go Rams!
My name is Paul Scoby. I grew up in Mt. Pleasant, and after graduating from CMU, have worked in commercial loans at Isabella Bank for the last 17 years. I have been a part of the RPSA community as a parent and volunteer for the last six years, and am excited for the opportunity to coach the fifth and sixth grade boys on the 2018-2019 Renaissance Academy B Team. Basketball has been one of my passions since I was young, and I had the opportunity to be a part of some successful teams playing varsity basketball at Mt. Pleasant High School. I look forward to coaching this group of young men with the goals of developing character, individual skill and the ability to play together as a team, all while having fun and creating memories along the way. Go Rams!
Spenser Robinson loves the game of basketball and hopes to inspire that passion for the sport in his 7th and 8th grade team. His team will focus on building character, playing with energy, playing with hustle and creating memories. Dr. Robinson serves as the Director of Real Estate and an Associate Professor of Finance and Law at Central Michigan University. This is his 7th year in Mt. Pleasant and 7th straight year of coaching children’s basketball. He looks forward to building community within our RPSA family.
