My name is Erin Guillen and I am a 3rd and 4th grade teacher here at Renaissance. I grew up on the west side of Michigan in the town of Manistee right near Lake Michigan! I attended Central Michigan University and completed my student teaching requirements at Renaissance. After graduation I was offered a full time position and graciously accepted! You may have also seen me around coaching the girls basketball team or facilitating youth rugby clinics. I enjoy traveling, live music, staying active, and being outdoors during any season but winter!
My name is Jon Koster. This is my ninth year teaching at Renaissance, where I also completed my student teaching. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, and I attended Central Michigan University. I live in Mt. Pleasant with my wife, Jessica, and two sons, Noah and Nathan. When I am not at school I enjoy working in my yard, playing golf, spending time with my family, and attending CMU sporting events.
My name is Marilyn Lindsay and I am a 3rd/4th grade teacher here at Renaissance. This is the 13th year of my teaching career. I grew up in the southern part of Michigan and I have five siblings. I attended Central Michigan University when my husband Pete and I were first married. Now we have three children named Emily, Ian and Owen. I have lived in Mt. Pleasant for 28 years. My name is Rachel Nemeth and this is my 12th year teaching at Renaissance. I think 3rd and 4th grade is just so much fun, and I absolutely love being an Islander teacher! I was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin (near Milwaukee), moved around quite a bit when I was younger, and eventually ended up in Mount Pleasant where I received my degrees at Central MIchigan University. In my free time, I love going on mini adventures with my family, playing with my children Gibson and Gwen, going to concerts, playing golf, and cooking.
