Hello, my name is Bethany Lehr! I am a student at Mid Michigan College, and I am super excited to coach the cross country team this fall! I fell in love with running at a young age and couldn’t wait to join the cross country team in 5th grade. I proceeded to run cross country for the next 8 years, all through middle school and high school. I greatly enjoyed both the competitive and challenging nature of the sport, as well as the camaraderie and friendships that come with being part of a team.

I’m looking forward to the opportunity to encourage these athletes and help them discover their own love for running. My goal is to create an environment where they can enjoy the sport, challenge themselves competitively, and grow not only as runners, but also as leaders and teammates. Most of all, I hope they leave the season with great memories, stronger friendships, and a love for cross country that brings them back every year, just like it did for me.
