Welcome to year three of track & field at Renaissance Academy! At this time, participation in track will be for 7th & 8th grade students only. Additionally, Renaissance will begin to slowly add “field” events. Renaissance will only compete at invitational meets at this time.
I’m Chris Kaufmann, and I’m excited to be back for my 3rd year of coaching! I’m a full-time real estate, commercial, and wedding videographer based out of Midland. I love to run, pamper Coach Grace and I’s beloved cat Hank, and coach track of course! I’m thrilled to be part of this program once again, and I’m looking forward to an amazing season filled with PRs and first-place finishes. Go Rams!!
My name is John Roney, and I’m excited to be back as a coach for the 2024 season of RPSA Track and Field! I have enjoyed every moment of working with students at Renaissance, and I’m excited to continue guiding and developing their passions! I personally have a passion for running and endurance events, and I am currently training for my first marathon! I strive to assist students in developing a foundation of interdependent leadership skills, through activities like track, that they can continue to build on throughout their life. I know this will be another phenomenal season! Go Rams!
Hello! My name is Lauryn Grace-Kaufmann. This is my third year coaching track at Renaissance, and I am so excited to be back! I am currently an 8th grade English teacher in Midland, where I love to walk all the trails in the community and visit the never-ending string of coffee shops. My biggest passion is helping students achieve their goals, both on and off the track. I am looking forward to another great season. Go Rams!
