Coach Smith & Coach Walker

Hi, I’m Sarrah Smith, and I’m excited to be part of the 2026 RPSA Track and Field season! Sprinting and relays have always been a passion of mine, I ran in high school, where I still hold two relay records, and continued competing at Lake Superior State University. Track taught me discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, I’m eager to help our athletes develop those same skills while finding their own love for the sport.

Outside of coaching, I’m a newborn and family photographer and a graphic designer, but being back on the track feels like home. I can’t wait to help our athletes push their limits, build confidence, and grow both on and off the track. It’s going to be a great season—Go Rams!

Hi! My name is Kelsea Walker, and I am very excited to be joining the Renaissance athletic program this year as the track and field coach. I am originally from Gladwin, Michigan, where I competed in track from 7th through 12th grade and developed a lasting appreciation for the sport and the work ethic it builds.

I currently work at Renaissance as a paraprofessional. I also spent several years doing school photography and now run my own photography business.

I live in Clare with my boyfriend of six years, along with our dog, Two Dot, and our cat, Juno, who definitely keep life outside of school extremely fun!

As a coach, I aspire to help my athletes grow both on and off the track. My goal is to build a team culture where students feel encouraged to challenge themselves, support one another, and take pride in being part of something great. I’m excited to help our athletes build confidence, resilience, and a love for the sport—just like I did. Go Rams!
