Middle School at Renaissance Academy follows a project-based model. Students work through rigorous material with a strong balance of direct instruction and project based applications. The Middle School Program is a multi-age approach, where students switch classes and see a combination of 4 different classroom teachers and a full time Special Education teacher. In addition to mixing between different classes for their core subjects, students are placed in advisory classes with an advising teacher that they remain with for their two years in middle school. This allows students to build strong, lasting, relationships with their teachers and classmates.
The middle school team posts daily updates to classroom activities to help students stay organized and to keep families informed of current instruction. An archive of agenda information is available for every day of the school year.
