Boys Basketball Update 1/15
Attention Boys Basketball Families and Athletes: In accordance with the newest order issued by the MDHHS, the athletic directors of the MMSL have adjusted the schedule yet again. You can view the new schedule by going to the “Boys Basketball” page. The new order allows “contact sports” to begin on February 1st. This will not allow time for our teams to practice before their first game, but we will take every opportunity that we can get.
We are committed to making a season for our boys happen. We appreciate your patience and understanding, as we navigate this difficult road together. I will keep everyone posted when I have further developments. Thank you.
Boys Basketball Season Update 12/30
Attention Families: The boys basketball season has been rescheduled to begin. The new schedule is posted on the boys basketball page. Coach Neyer will be in touch with new practice schedules. Please let Mr. McCausey know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Spectator Admittance Update! 9/16/20
Attention Families & Athletes: As of today (9/16), for Renaissance Home Events, we will allow TWO SPECTATORS per athlete. Please follow the guidelines below:
Student Athlete Drop-off (for practice and games)
When dropping student athletes off for practice and competition, the crosswalks should be used at all times. Student athletes should not be walking in and out of traffic in the parking lot. Walk directly to a crosswalk and cross at that point. This is for the safety of everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.
In-Person & Distance Learners Eligible
Families: All 5th through 8th grade students at Renaissance are eligible to participate in athletics. This includes distance learners. Please see the announcements below for the latest developments. Thank you.
For the 2020-2021 school year only – the Athletics Fee for all sports will be $40. This fee will be in place for all families. Questions should be directed to the school’s athletic director: Mr. McCausey.
Families: We will be following the recommendation from the MHSAA that all student-athletes from the previous year that have physicals on file at the school will be able to use those physicals for this year. Student-athletes that do not have a physical on file from the previous school year must attain a physical for this school year in order to participate in athletics.
