Girls Volleyball Open Gym Schedule (5th through 8th Grade)
ATTENTION GIRLS VOLLEYBALL 5th – 8th GRADE:
Girls in 5th through 8th grade that are interested in plating volleyball this year for Renaissance are invited to come in for some open gym workouts. Whether you want to work on your serving, passing, setting, or spiking. the gym will be open on the dates and times below. Please make sure that you bring indoor gym shoes. The gym floor was just resurfaced. Thank you.

24-25 Cross Country Season Announcement!
Attention Families & Student Athletes:
The 2024-25 cross country season is set to begin on August 12th! Those interested in being a part of the upcoming cross country team should not wait until August to begin running and conditioning. Set a schedule for yourself this summer and start preparing for the fall season!

Attention: If you are heading to Mt. Pleasant High School in the fall, and you are interested in athletics, please see the following information. Any sports that you are interested in? If so, you need to reach out to the head coach to find out when important dates are that you do NOT want to miss…like tryouts, or summer workouts…etc.

Free Sports Physicals!
Attention Families:
There are still two remaining dates to receive your free athletics physical for the upcoming school year:
- Alma Family Practice Center: Monday – June 17 (3:00 to 5:00 PM)
- MyMichigan Health Park Gladwin: Thursday – June 20 (4:00 to 7:00 PM)
If you know you’re going to need a physical anyway, you might as well get it taken care of now…for FREE.
Little Lambs Tumbling Clinic! Register Online Today!
Attention – Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade (for the coming school year) are invited to register online for the Little Lambs Tumbling Clinic! Proceeds will benefit the Renaissance Cheer program.

This includes completed physical forms uploaded to the system. Athletic fees should be paid in the school office.
Registration in FinalForms MUST be complete before student athletes are permitted to participate in athletic contests.

Renaissance is now a member of the MHSAA. This opens up more opportunities for our student-athletes here at RPSA…including the Co-Op agreement between RPSA and MPPS for 7th & 8th grade football!

Renaissance Athletics Fees & Scholarships
The participation fee per sport at Renaissance Academy is $80.
Scholarships are also available by printing and completing the form at the bottom of this page under Resources. Families of student athletes receiving scholarships will owe HALF the athletics fee, and are asked to volunteer to work at one home athletic event. Thank you.

Student Athlete Drop-off (for practice and games)
When dropping student athletes off for practice and competition, the crosswalks should be used at all times. Student athletes should not be walking in and out of traffic in the parking lot. Walk directly to a crosswalk and cross at that point. This is for the safety of everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.
